referees (upto 4 peer reviews in many cases). Please find enclosed review(s)

and make sure they are addressed in your final paper.

Please note the following:

1. The GRID 2000 Workshop proceedings will be published by Springer Verlag.

2. For your paper to be included in the proceedings, at least one of the
   authors needs to send in a completed registration form along with
   payment of registration fees.  This must accompany the final manuscript.
   (Registration FORM will be sent to you soon).

   Kindly NOTE: GRID 2000 is part of HiPC 2000, so there is NO separate
   registration fee for GRID 2000. You just need to register for HiPC 2000
   and that will cover both GRID and HiPC 2000 conferences. You will get
   two separate proceedings of GRID and HiPC, both published by Springer Verlag.
   You can attend both meeting with one registration. GRID will be held on
   Dec 17, 2000; And HiPC 2000 will be held during Dec 18-20, 2000.

3. Currently, the paper size for including in the proceedings is distributed
   as follows:
        * Distinguished papers: 13 pages
        * Regular Papers: 12 pages
        * Short papers: 10 pages

 If your paper is already larger than these limits OR exceeds when you address
 review comments, DO not cut down TEXT--I will try to allocate some additional
 pages.

HOWEVER, the solution at this moment is:
  Upto three (3) additional pages may be purchased at US$75 per page 
(authors located in India may pay the equivalent amount in Indian currency). 
The exact extra page information will be sent to you soon.

4. The camera ready manuscript is due August 31 (tentative).
  This year the proceedings will be published by Springer Verlag.
  Instructions for preparing the camera ready manuscripts have been placed
  at the GRID 2000 web site http://www.gridcomputing.org
  The author kit will NOT be mailed separately.

5. The camera ready paper (electronic form by email) AND copyright form (by fax)
should be sent to the Proceedings Chair:

6. Please let me know if none of the authors of this paper are able to
   attend the conference so that the slot allotted to the paper may be given
   to one of the several qualified papers we have been unable to accommodate.
   I would like to get a response regarding this by July 15.

7. December is peak season for travel to India.  It becomes extremely
   difficult to get airline reservations as well as local accommodations for
   travel to India during this period.  So, please make your reservations
   early.

8. Updated information regarding the conference can be obtained from the

9. A hard copy of the Advance Program will be mailed to you.  An electronic
   version will also be available at the above URL.

10.  At the conference, you will be given 20 minutes to present your paper
including times for question and answers. However, papers in the last session
(see advance program) have about 18 minute for presentation due to tight
schedule.
