Workshop Introduction - Recent Advances in Cluster Computing

The architectures and application of clusters of PCs and workstations are becoming increasingly more important prerequisites to satisfy the advanced computing power requirements of high-performance and high availability applications.  To optimize such commodity (off-the-shelf), cluster platforms new architectural paradigms are needed. With regards to these aspects, the Cluster Computing track will cover new architectures, communication technologies and standards, organizations and applications as well as examining the future trends in these areas. It will cover original research and development articles that demonstrate network architectures, novel communication structures as well as protocols supporting local-area and wide-area based parallel and distributed computing. Both theoretical and practical works are encouraged. Topics of interest include but not limited to:

Euro-Par Conference Series
