A poster session is being planned at the 1st IEEE International Symposium on Cluster Computing and the Grid (CCGrid2001). This provides an opportunity for researchers to present their planned, on-going or recently-finished work--highlighting recent results in the field of cluster and grid computing . Authors will be able to make a brief presentation to attract other participants to a walk-up-and-talk (poster) setting. Poster session papers will not be included in the hard-copy form of the proceedings of the CCGrid'01 conference, but will be published as "Web Proceedings" possibly at: http://www.ccgrid.org/
Since there will be no printed proceedings for the poster session papers, simultaneous submission of the work to other conferences/journals will be allowed. The main idea of the poster session is to present results of the work-in-progress and enable you to get feedback from other participants for possible improvements. All the topics concerning Cluster or Grid computing included in the CCGrid2001 call for paper are welcomed.
To submit your work to be presented in the poster session, please email a short abstract (no more than 2 pages) in either PDF or PS to Poster Session Chair Hai Jin. Please include the name, affiliation, email address and telephone/fax numbers of each author.
Authors of accepted posters will be contacted by email and a poster author kit will be sent out. The poster author kit will detail the amount of space available to each poster and the amount of time that will be allocated for presentation of the poster.
Authors of accepted posters will be required to email an abstract for their poster, to be published in the on-line version of the CCGrid2001 proceedings, by May 1, 2001.
